Individual Therapy for Adults

Through the power of authentic connection, we can foster growth and change that will help you live the life you want to live.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. Let's get to know each other.

I'm Elizabeth (she/her/hers). I’m a licensed psychologist living in Salem, MA. I am licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and my home state of Arkansas. I have 15 years of clinical experience that has prepared me to provide you with care that is effective, safe, & tailored to you. My clinical style is relational, honest, and practical. Prior to private practice, I worked as the Training Director for universities in both Fayetteville, AR and Boston, MA providing clinical supervision, supporting the queer community, and working with graduate students.

I love to travel (especially to the National Parks, in fact, the pictures on this website are all from my travels!). I also love to sew & crochet, watch sci-fi & fantasy with my dogs & partner, and hit up karaoke night with my pals. If you think that we could work well together, I hope you will schedule a free initial consultation. I look forward to getting to know you!

    My Values & Clinical Style

It is my sincere hope to help you feel seen, accepted, and valued. My practice is rooted in values of compassion, justice, and empowerment. I believe deeply in the power of connection and relationship to help individuals embody their most authentic self. I integrate principles of evidence-practice with body liberation, trauma recovery, and identity affirmation principles.

    My Interests

I work well with people struggling with anxiety & depression, larger-bodied people, queer-identified people, women, college/graduate students, people with late-diagnosed neurodivergence, and people struggling with emotional trauma & attachment wounds . Common concerns include issues with relationships, including parents, partners, and platonic relationships as well as people going through life transitions.

    Education & Training

I graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology from Hendrix College in 2008. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas in 2014, after completing an APA-accredited internship in community mental health. I received additional training in trauma, transgender health, and mindful approaches to treatment of depression & anxiety.
